Directors
Rob Shaw
Director, Director of Photography
Rob Shaw is a talented and experienced Director and Director of Photography of Commercials, Industrials, and Television (including small and large puppet-based shows, which require additional attention).
Born in Kitchener, Rob moved to Toronto to attend Ryerson University’s Film Studies program. There are very few positions Rob has not held on a set since graduating: Writer, Assistant Director, Key Grip, Production Manager, Camera Assistant, Editor, etc., Rob has performed them all admirably. All of this experience has allowed Rob to become an extremely effective Director and Director of Photography. To say Rob has a “keen eye” is a gross understatement, as his sample videos below will attest.
Todd Doldersum
Director
Though Todd Doldersum is an award-winning Director, he is also an extremely talented and experienced Actor, Puppeteer, Puppet-builder, and Editor. Todd cut his acting, writing and directing teeth at Banting Memorial High School in Alliston, ON, where he created many short and feature-length films with a group of friends.
Todd's desire to create video excitement (especially anything monster-related) led him to the Toronto, UK, and LA film & television industries via Special Effects & Make-up, which augmented his acting career. Already a talented sculptor, Todd found that he had a knack for building a diverse assortment of "hot foam" puppets. These puppets, and Todd's puppeteering and comedic acting abilities, were then used to great effect in many award-winning children's television shows for:
- BBC
- Treehouse
- Disney
- YTV
- CBC
- Sprout, and
- Nickelodeon
